The Oranjezicht City Farmers Market provides the perfect setting to do your weekly shop for fresh produce. Their focus is on local, fresh, seasonal, healthy vegetables, fruit, herbs and other primary food items. You can also buy seeds, seedlings, plants, fertilisers, and other nursery-related items for your own garden. If you are hungry, you can eat purchase food from one of the food stalls on offer.

So what did I see that I really liked? What did I think set it apart? The colours of the vegetables and fruit are so vibrate – everything looked so fresh and delicious. I also loved seeing people with their cute baskets filled to the brim with their weekly shop. The market is also very family friendly and I saw lots of kids running around and babies in prams.

While the Market does have a few stalls that sell clothing, decor, etc, the star of the show is the Fresh Produce Tent.
