Motherhood. It doesn’t always come easy to me. But I do try my hardest. And that is all I can do. There are things I do really well, like reading stories with different voices, making up songs with my boy’s names in them, listening to them when they tell the longest stories in the world, hugging them and loving them with all of my heart. There are things I don’t do that well, like letting them play a little bit longer on their tablets when I need a break or losing my cool sometimes.
Motherhood Adventures
In the almost 8 years that I have been a mother, the three of us have had a lot of adventures together.
We have travelled to the Kruger National Park, Durban, up to the West Coast, the Overberg, all around Cape Town and Johannesburg. We have taken trains, planes, and cars. There have been arguments, laughter, disasters, long conversations, stories, and songs.
And there are more adventures to come. I would really like to take them to my home country, Namibia, for an epic road trip. I have been telling them about the vast desert for years. And I would really like to show it to them!
To my favourite travelling companions: here’s to many more adventures on the road and at home.
Motherhood Adventures In Pictures:
P.S. I know that I haven’t posted in a long time. In January, I started a new job as a Digital Marketer in the Tourism Industry. It has been incredible. I work with some of the most amazing women and inspiring tourism brands I have ever had the privilege of meeting. I got stuck in and my blog took a break. But, hopefully, there will be more stories and photos in the future.
