The Bryanston Organic and Natural Market has been around since 1976 and specialise
Now this is a great place to get away from the packed malls – particularly during the festive season. You can come and do your weekly veggie shop here, look out for the “Certified Organic” sign at the stalls selling certified organic products. Fresh produce is organically grown in close proximity to the market, and delicatessen and bakery goods are either certified organic, or bear the market’s stamp of Natural Assurance, meaning that the products are free from artificial additives, preservatives and colourants.
I walked through the market and enjoyed the wonderful scent of coffee and food from the stalls, mixed up with the earthy aromas of the plants available at the little nursery.
This is a great place to find the perfect gift this festive season. Products are hand made locally by talented crafters and designers.
One of my favourite stalls was Buckley & Boo, displaying beautiful hand-made wooden products. I loved the cellphone covers and the watches.
This festive season you can enjoy their Moonlight Markets every Tuesday from 17:00 – 21:00 until the 20th of December.
Trading Hours: Every Thursdays and Saturdays and Public Holidays from 09:00 – 15:00
