The San living & training at !Khwa ttu invite you to join them for their Khwa ttu Heritage Festival, from Saturday, 22 September, to Monday, 24 September, from 10 am – 4 pm.
I have been to Khwa ttu on many occasions and I really love the place and the people. This year they are celebrating Heritage Day by hosting everyone at their Khwa Ttu Heritage Festival.
There are great activities for the whole family to enjoy, from herbal tea tastings, San storytelling, and tracking, to traditional dancing, singing and tractor rides – for this weekend only all activities are free of charge.

On the slopes above Yzerfontein, just an hour from Cape Town’s CBD lies !Khwa ttu. Run by and for the San, it is primarily a place where San youth receive training in a variety of fields, and a repository for their culture.
